THE PRINCESS AND THE THREE KNIGHTS

(Storytelling is not just for kids but for everyone...
Here is a story I heard years ago in Bogotá)

Once upon a time there was a far away kingdom. It has a beautiful princess, more beautiful that a rose with golden hair and eyes like the sky.
She was the love of her father and everyone at the palace because she was kind with a warm heart.

Years passed and the princess growth reaching the age to be married. Three handsome knights got in the palace to ask permission to marry the beautiful princess.
The three of them were equal in intelligence, good looks and wealth. The king was confused and didn’t know which one to pick. He asked the princess and she didn’t know either because she saw beautiful qualities in the three men.

It happened that the princess got ill and a few months later she died…

The three knights were very sad.
The First one cried a lot and went to the temple to offer the respective sacrifices for her dead.
The Second one cried a lot too and in a moment of desperation, he run to her tumble, got naked and lay on top of it.
The Third one went to another kingdoms searching for a cure. Finally got into a house were an elderly woman grabbed a cat, threw it into the fireplace. Next she took its ashes the content of some bottles and...
Taran… The cat returned to appear.

The knight took all this, offered it for the princess and she appeared again.

The question is. Which of the three gentlemen should have married the princess? And why?
… … …
… …
… (Your guess?)
… … … … … …
… … … … … …
… … … … … …
… The answer is…
… … … … … …
… … … … … …

The #2.

Why?...

Because…
The #1 loved her as a son loves a mother. That’s why he went to the temple to offer the respective services.

The #3 loved her as a father loves a daughter. There is no greatest love than the love for the own kids (son or daughter). A parent will even give its life if necessary.

But the #2 loved her with the love of a man for a woman. That’s why in a moment of madness he got naked to lie down with his loved one. He loved her with his heart and his body.

The End
